BSA Pack # 909

About Us

Pack 909 serves scouts in Kindergarten through 5th grade in Humble, Texas. Our pack meets at Fall Creek Elementary and typically has 50-60 scouts who are divided into dens of 5-10 scouts, based on their grade.

Pack 909’s primary focus is to work with you in building your scout's character and come along side to create a strong family unit. In addition to character, our cub scout program includes emphasis on:
• Attitudes of good citizenship and love of country
• Personal achievement and encouraging scouts to always do their best
• Leadership development
• Love for the outdoors
• Outdoor skills such as BB guns, archery, and basic camping skills
• Personal fitness
• Beginnings of self reliance
• Strengthening your scout's ability to get along with one another and respect adults

Some of our signature pack events include: Raingutter Regatta, Blue and Gold Banquet, the Pinewood Derby, Holiday Toy Drive and Souper Bowl of Caring Food Drive both benefiting Humble Area Assistance Ministries, and Trash Bash. We also host a Fall and Spring Camp Out.

Dens (your core group of 6-8 scouts of the same rank) usually meet together twice a month. Days, times, and location vary for each den. We have a monthly pack meeting on the first Monday of the month. Our pack also provides optional pack outings which typically are family events on the weekends and during the summer.
